About 7 Tutorials

Mission Statement

Just like yourself, we are tired of encountering sites which publish bad tutorials that ruin your computer instead of fixing it. We are also tired of editors who write tutorials in a rush and miss some important steps, site owners who shamelessly rip-off other sites, or those who don't thoroughly test their solutions and don't answer all your questions.

Our team has one simple mission: provide complete tutorials for Windows 7. We want to offer quality, not quantity. You might see our site updating less often than others but that's because we will do our best to offer quality articles.

7 Reasons Why You Should Visit Our Site & Come Back!

Contributing Editors

Ciprian Adrian Rusen - I am the owner and chief editor of the site, based in Bucharest, Romania. Computers and technology are my passion since high school. If you want to know more about me and my professional experience, you can view my profile on LinkedIn or visit my blog, called the Corporate Geek.

Chad Whitley - I've had a passion for communication for as long as I can remember, particularly of the digital variety; and I love to tinker with new devices. I was the computer wiz of my household at five years old, when I set up my family's first machine; an Apple IIe. My parents were very proud. I've played on ragtag machines using every variant of Windows since Windows 95. I worked in tech support before going on to attend and graduate from the University of Georgia with a degree in English. Now, I fight crime by writing tutorials for the working man.

Florina Muntenescu - I am a Computer Science graduate, with a Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, plus programmer on mobile devices. I believe that anyone can speak the "computer language" and 7tutorials.com can become the perfect "dictionary" for Windows 7 users.

Kris Szabo - I have been prodding computers since before I cares to remember. I've gone through a number of operating systems from VAX/VMS to various *nix flavours to the current iteration of Windows. I'm a firm believer in a heterogeneous environment and that each Operating System has it's own strengths and weaknesses. I have worked my way through many of the jobs you would find in the corporate IT field, most recently becoming the member of an IT security team for a major ISP. To find out more about me, visit my LinkedIn page.

Marte Brengle - I've been using computers since I first fed punch cards into a mainframe in 1969. Windows 7 is the tenth different operating system I've learned over the years, and I've become a regular reader of Windows 7 Tutorials so I can figure it out, too! I've done tech support for Toshiba, fixed computers in a big box store and written about Commodore computers and PCs. It's a good thing I really like learning something new every day.

Sarah James - I a moderator on the How To Geek forums and computer enthusiast, that loves to combine usability with slick looks. I love to make any computer my own by modifying it to suit my needs and finding out the boundaries of any program I use. As a result I am also on the forefront of telling everybody to backup, backup, backup!

In our team we also have a proof-reader, helping us keep the quality of our writing to at least reasonable levels. Since most of us are not native English speakers, some help is required. His name is Alexandru Muntean and so far he's been a great helper.
