Mission Statement

Just like yourself, we are tired of encountering sites which publish bad tutorials that ruin your computer instead of fixing it. We are also tired of editors who write tutorials in a rush and miss some important steps, site owners who shamelessly rip-off other sites, or those who don't thoroughly test their solutions and don't answer all your questions.

Our team has one simple mission: provide complete tutorials for Windows 7. We want to offer quality, not quantity. You might see our site updating less often than others but that's because we will do our best to offer quality articles.

Contributing Editors

Ciprian Adrian Rusen - I am the owner and chief editor of the site. Technology is a big passion for me. By day I work as an IT Project Manager and I'm a techie by night. Writing for 7 Tutorials is my way of keeping myself relevant and up to date with the tech world. Florina Muntenescu - a Computer Science graduate, currently undergoing MSc in Artificial Intelligence, and programmer on mobile devices. She believes that anyone can speak the "computer language" and 7tutorials.com can become the perfect "dictionary" for Windows 7 users.

Jack Busch - a shameful Apple defector. I now run OS X and Windows 7 in harmony on my Macbook (give peace a chance). The first PC tip I learned was how to put a little piece of scotch tape over the write-protected tab on a floppy disk so you can overwrite it. I hope to share other such handy tips with you here at 7tutorials.com (except, you know, relevant to the 21st century). For work, I'm a a freelance copywriter and blogger. For fun, well... I haven't quite figured that out yet.

Vanessa Vasile - I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science with a major in Information Security and minors in Programming and Finance. I currently work as a Linux system administrator in the web hosting industry, and in my spare time I enjoy surfing, programming, and spending time with my fiancé. I currently have a personal website, v-nessa.net - Programming is Sexy.

Maximilian Robu - I’m an information technology enthusiast who thinks that 7tutorials.com is the perfect place for every user to learn how to master the new and improved Windows 7. This operating system is an important evolution for Microsoft and its users. Therefore I'm doing my best to help people learn how to use it.

Chuck Houghton - I've been an I.T. professional for more than a dozen years supporting businesses with as few as 3 employees and others as large as 2000 employees. I've a passion for technology and maybe a greater passion for communicating its benefits and pitfalls. You shall be the judge of how effective I am at the latter.
I'd be remiss if I did not mention that my greatest passion is found in being the husband to one and the Dad to five.

We also have some occasionally active editors: George Grigorita (co-founder of the site) and Florin Gontariu.

Former editors, no longer part of the team, are: Alexandru Lazar, Alin-Cristian Clincea, Bogdan Bele.

In our team we also have a proof-reader, helping us keep the quality of our writing to at least reasonable levels. Since most of us are not native English speakers, some help is required. His name is Alexandru Muntean and so far he's been a great helper.

A special thanks goes to Janis (she knows who she is) for helping us at the launch of this site with some great proof-reading. Our articles have less mistakes due to her.
