How the selection was done

We took the list of people which subscribed to our e-mail newsletter by January 4th, 2010. The total number of subscribers was 326. We removed those subscribers which did not activate their subscriptions. Then, we eliminated the e-mail subscriptions which were duplicates. Unfortunately quite a few folks were not fair-play and subscribed using multiple e-mail addresses. We cleaned up the list so that only one of these multiple e-mails addresses remained per person. You know... give everyone a fair chance and not favor the cheaters.

Next, we exported the list into Excel and had 6 random functions generate the winners. We closed Excel, opened it and recorded all the lucky numbers.

The lucky winners are listed in the screenshot below. All of them will be contacted by e-mail shortly. Those who do not reply by January 12, will be taken out from the list of winners and we will have Excel generate other lucky ones instead.
