7 Tutorials is 2.5 Years Old as of January 5th 2012
Our birthday was actually yesterday. Not joking! :) We were so busy writing and doing other stuff that we let it pass almost unnoticed. We decided that we had to fix things and make a proper celebration with our readers. Also, we got lucky as Symantec decided to help us out on very short notice.
Since our 2 years celebration, lots of things have happened and the website evolved for the better. This is due also to Google hitting us hard with their ranking & search algorithm tweaking. They penalized us a couple times and each time we changed and improved our approach for the better. We are happy to report things are back on track. Our total traffic for the last 6 months is of 835751 visits and 1190715 pageviews. Also, it has been growing nicely for the last 2 to 3 months. We learned a lot in the process of improving our website and the future is looking good again.
We are working on great topics to write about in the future and we are engaged in writing a new book (with a signed contract and everything). When the time comes to celebrate 3 years of 7 Tutorials, we will surely have lots of great news to share with you.
