Taking screenshots in Windows Phone has been problematic, at least until the recent release of Windows Phone 8. Now this task can be done with ease, by pressing two buttons on your phone. To learn how it is done, read this quick tutorial.
NOTE: If you have a smartphone with Windows Phone 7.5 or 7.8 you won’t be able to take screenshots. This feature is not included in these editions of Windows Phone.
Taking Screenshots in Windows Phone
To take screenshots, simply press and hold the Windows and Power buttons, simultaneously. You will hear a click sound and the screenshot is taken.
To view your screenshots, go to Photos. Tap albums and then Screenshots.
When you connect your phone to your PC, screenshots get automatically synchronized together with all of your pictures. You will notice that they are saved as PNG files, which is great.
