Security for Everyone - Reviewing AVG Internet Security 8.5

AVGThe second entry in our Security for Everyone series is AVG Internet Security 8.5. AVG has a strong focus on its home security features and does not offer all the fancy extras like backup facilities that some other suites offer. However, AVG Internet Security tries to offer some interesting approaches to home security, with features such as LinkScanner, which analyzes visited websites to detect potential threats, or ID Protection which monitors processes, keeping an eye on identity theft threats. In this review, I will talk about what AVG Internet Security 8.5 really offers, let you know from where to buy it and where to download a free trial version.

Security for Everyone - Reviewing BullGuard Internet Security 8.7

BullGuardOpening our Security for Everyone series is BullGuard Internet Security 8.7. BullGuard has been a player on the home security market since 2002, promoting a solution based on the BitDefender antivirus engine with a focus on ease of use and efficiency.

BullGuard Internet Security 8.7 offers an integrated, subscription-based service in which you get not only the security software, but also a 5 GB online backup space. While the backup option is certainly good to have and useful, we did not include it in our review since we are only testing security features: the anti-malware and the firewall module. In this review I will share with you how this security solution really is and give you directions for where to buy it and where to download the 60-day trial version.
